Easy Fall Craft with Edyn

A few days ago, we were done with our school work, and Edyn wanted to work on decorating her room for fall. I wish I could say that fall is in the air, but in Texas it is still very much summer here. The highs have cooled down to around 95 so I guess we can pretend right?

Well she wanted some fall decor, and I suggested that she try and make something. I knew that if she put her mind to it, and did a little research she would find something fun!

She got on Pinterest, and found a great craft that used all things that we already had around the house.

What you will need:
yarn
cardboard
scissors
*hot glue gun - you don't have to have one

This is really simple to do. She traced out the letters F-A-L-L onto her cardboard. You could use a stencil for this, but she did it by hand so that it would be even more her own creation. She then chose a pretty dark red yarn to wrap the letters in.

Wrap the yarn around to completely cover the cardboard.

When you're done, you can just tie the end on the back or use a small dot of hot glue to secure it.

That's it!

This was super simple and will last a long time! I think it looks precious too. You could do any word and the color choices are endless. I think she's going to try a pumpkin and a leaf next!

I hope everyone has a fantastic week, and let me know if you decide to try this fun and easy craft!
